Basco
The trail is now complete south to Belleville. Going north from Basco the trail is complete to Purcell Road, NOT Madison. Sorry, funds have been cut and the trail will not continue north to Madison at this time. Write to your legislator requesting funding to complete the trail.
Basco is located between Madison and Belleville. No parking lots, parks, or facilities available for bikers at present. Parking is available on the street if you wish to ride the from one of the northern most points of the Badger Trail. Basco is just off highway 69 on Henry Road. The trail is easy to find if you are having a friend meet you with a car on the trail. Main street intersects the trail on east side. Pictured below is photograph of a photograph hanging in a local establishment of the old railroad depot in Basco. If you ride your bike east on Main Street just out of town, you can see the top half of this structure which is now a house.
This website recomends the Cameo Rose B&B which is located just outside of Basco.
